Suppliers and Vendors


  • – Billet Precision Ltd. reserves the right of final approval of product, procedures, processes, and equipment.
  • – Billet Precision Ltd. reserves the right to review and approve the Supplier/Vendor’s Quality Management System. Standard QMS Requirements may include:
    • – Supplier/Vendor providing calibration services must provide evidence of calibration traceable to NIST or similar accreditation, when applicable.
    • – Supplier/Vendor providing special processing must maintain a system for validating processes similar to that of a NADCAP program.
    • – Customer Directed sources must operate in accordance with approved specifications and standards as dictated and controlled by the customer in question.
    • – Supplier/Vendor initially approved for use via Certification (ISO, AS9100, ISO 17025, AS9120, etc) must notify our organization of any changes to that certification.
  • – The Supplier/Vendor shall maintain the proper identification and revision status of specifications, drawings, process requirements, inspection/verification instructions and other relevant technical data.
  • – Billet Precision Ltd. reserves the right to designate requirements of test specimens for design approval, inspection/verification, investigation or auditing.
  • – The Supplier/Vendor is required to:
    • – Notify our organization of nonconforming product.
    • – Obtain Billet Precision Ltd.’s approval for nonconforming product disposition.
    • – Notify Billet Precision of changes in product and/or process, changes of suppliers, and changes of manufacturing facility locations.
    • – Provide Billet Precision Ltd with the applicable requirements including customer requirements.
  • – The Supplier/Vendor is required to retain all Records associated with the Purchase Order as required by contract.
  • – The right of access by our organization, our customers and regulatory authorities to the applicable areas of all facilities, at any level of the supply chain, involved in the order and to all applicable records.
  • – All packages must be clearly marked with Part Number and Purchase order number.
  • – If Certification is requested with Purchase Order it must be truthful and legible.
  • – Check all shipments upon arrival. Damage must be noted on the delivery receipt. Contact Billet Precision Ltd. about any shortage or damage within 7 calendar days of receipt.

Tools, Dies and Fixtures


Unless otherwise expressly provided, any tools, dies or fixtures which may be developed for use in the production of the goods covered shall be owned by Billet Precision Ltd. or any producing mill, as Billet Precision Ltd. may elect, even if the buyer is charged in whole or in part for the cost of such tools, dies and fixtures.

Patent Infringement


If any of the goods are to be furnished to buyer’s specifications, buyer agrees to indemnify Billet Precision Ltd. and its successors and assigns, against all liabilities and expenses resulting from any claim of infringement of any patent or other propriety right in connection with the production of such goods.

General


You agree that these Terms and Conditions describe the entire agreement between us with respect to its subject matter. Billet Precision Ltd. was created and is operated under the laws of the Province of Ontario. The laws of the Province of Ontario will control the terms and conditions provided in these Terms and Conditions, without giving effect to any principles of conflict of laws. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds that any provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid or unenforceable, you agree that the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions will remain in full force and effect.
