How it works
Checking that the system works is a vital part of maintaining certification in ISO 9001:2008. An organization must perform internal audits to check how its quality management system is working. Billet undertakes yearly assessments by a certified outside inspector. Billet also makes use of ISO certified Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software that monitors materials, time, requirements, costs, inventory and whole host of variable parameters. This system allows for highly accurate scheduling and forecasting and is a key integral part of Billet’s business.
